Belgian Legacy Cup FINALS – Ghent, December 16th, 2018

Outpost Ghent is proud to present this year’s Finals for the Belgian Legacy Cup (BLC)!. The BLC is there to crown the best Legacy Player of Belgium and neighbouring countries. We’re offering a great prize Pool (Duals – Japanese fetches, Ultimate Master Boosters and more…) with at least one Underground Sea for the winner – aside from the title of 2018 Belgian Legacy Cup Champion.

Tournament details:

When: Sunday, December 16th, 2018
Doors: 11h00 – Start: 12h00
Where: Outpost Ghent, Ottergemstesteenweg 13, 9000 Ghent

Outpost Ghent is a good 10 min. walk away from the Gent Sint-Pieters train station. If you come by car, we recommend parking in the Karel Lodewijk Ledeganckstraat, which is free on Sundays.

Format: Legacy,  Swiss + Top 8
REL: Competitive – bring a decklist!
Entree fee: 25 euro

From 33 players or more:
1st : Revised Underground Sea (slightly played – played)
2nd : Revised Bayou (slightly played – played)
3rd-4th : Revised Taiga (slightly played – played)
5th-8th : 2 japanese Fetchlands (choose between Heaths, Foothills & Strands)

If 35 players show up we will the 5th-8th will get an extra Masters 25 booster.
If 37 players show up the whole top 8 will get an extra Masters 25 booster.
If 41 players show up up the whole top 8 will get 2 extra Masters 25 booster.

45 players or more:

In order to avoid scheduling conflicts with other tournament series, or in this weekend’s case, the local elections, the schedule for this year’s Belgian Legacy Cup has been updated:

• Last Chance Trial : Outpost Ghent – Sunday, December 9th, 2018

The schedule for the 2018 Belgian Legacy Cup!

In 2017, the Belgian Legacy Cup welcomed more than 100 different players over the course of 6 trials and our Final Event. We like to take this moment to thank every single one of you who came out to play, and we hope you had an absolute blast doing so.

Schedule change and updates

The second trial of the 2017 Season has been moved. It will now take place on Saturday, June 24th.

Because we could not find an available judge on Sunday 25th (the original date for the event), we had no choice but the reschedule the event.

The event will still be hosted by Outpost Ghent. Further details will be announced during the next few days.

• Top 8 decklists from the first trial can be found on MtG Top 8. Throughout the season, links to the decklist will be posted under Current Season.

The first trial in Outpost Antwerp on Sunday 28th May kicks off the Belgian Legacy Cup for 2017!

After 8 trials throughout the country, the time has come for Belgium’s most prestigious Legacy event of the year. Who will succeed Frederik Ketels and become the 2016 Belgian Legacy Cup Champion? 

Outpost Antwerp has been at the forefront of Belgium’s competitive Magic scene for years and is proud to welcome you at the 2016 Belgian Legacy Cup Finals. Running strong since 2008, this exciting tournament will feature the strongest Legacy players in the region, facing off against each other for a loaded prizepool and the coveted title of Belgian Legacy Cup Champion.

Outpost Antwerp is located near the Groenplaats and the Meir. It’s a 10-minute walk coming from the Antwerp-Central train station. Nearby parking facilities are available, even though they all require payment.

• Rules Enforcement Level: Competitive. Decklists are required.
