The new season of the Belgian Legacy Cup has kicked off, and we hope you are all as fired up as we are. 2016 will mark the 8th edition of our tournament series, and we’ve come a long way since Abel Planting won the first BLC (in its current form) way back in 2009.
For this year’s Belgian Legacy Cup, we have decided to make some adjustments. These will be in effect for all the Trials (including the one in Brussels on March 26th) and the Finals of the 2016 Belgian Legacy Cup.
With the recent printing of Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time, Legacy has been in a bit of turmoil. 44 players decided to come down to Brussels to see for themselves whether these new Khans of Tarkir cards were powerfull to make it into the big leagues.
Despite the Belgian Magic scene’s focus on the final WMCQ this past weekend (congratulations, Alexandre Darras!), 36 players came down to Ghent to battle for store credit, glory, and precious byes for the final event of this years Belgian Legacy Cup. Continue reading
